Chi Delta Sorority

Chi Delta is an organization that strives for ideal sisterhood and fosters individuality. They accomplish this by attracting members who are dedicated to upholding their core values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service.

About:

Chi Delta was formed by an ambitious, eclectic group of 15 women who were looking to add a new dimension to Greek Life at Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Valuing inclusivity and diversity have since become central to the sorority’s culture. The group believes diversity in all forms makes their sisterhood strong and unique.

Chi Delta has stayed true to its founding principles by encouraging members to strive for success in the classroom, get involved on campus and develop a spirit of giving back to others. Chi Delts make regular appearances on the Dean’s list, belong to an array of academic honor societies and five Chi Delts have had the honor of participating in The Fulbright Program after graduation.

The Chi Delta Alumnae Association was founded in 2011 for the purpose of keeping alumnae engaged in supporting the active sorority and maintaining close ties among members. Their alumnae association ensures Chi Delts that membership offers life-long benefits. 

Mission:

Philanthropy:

  • Philanthropy: Service projects include the No Means November Campaign, Steps For Her 5K, SlutWalk (a transnational movement calling for an end to rape culture, including victim blaming and slut shaming of sexual assault victims), highway clean-up, Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Relay for Life,  pop tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House.

Minimum GPA to Join: 3.0
